A Body in the Water...

Image
Have you heard about any case of a body found in water? what do you think about that? What is your primary responsibility when you're sent to a water-related event with a kid or adult? “Drowning” is the most typical response. A toddler immersed in a bathtub, a sunken car, a female boater who fell overboard, or a fisher in a river may need help. What do first responders assume is waiting for them? a near-drowning experience You don't find any gunshot wounds, stab wounds, or other visible injuries. There is no discernible cause of death. What is the cause of death assumed to be at the scene? Drowning. What is the presumed mode of dying following this? Accident. And this is especially true when you come to find family members bravely trying to do CPR on their loved ones, who are in dire straits. Once “drowning” and “accident” are in our thoughts, we'll be unable to evaluate the situation without bias, no matter how hard we try. We will probably consider the situation and even

One Mad Titan: restoring the balance!

Image
Once you are old enough to understand and you let everything be as it is, you will start feeling all the villains you came across were on point. But technically not everyone, someone with a maniac mission, possibly justified in his defense. That is how encountered this big mad Titan as a hero, not really..., let's say I felt his perception is practical. A wise man once said, we all hero in our stories; totally acceptable. So as to Thanos, his only mission was to restore the balance in the universe is where he claims himself as an unsung hero; where we call him a 'tyrant'. Precisely, this bad guy is not interested in showoff his wealthiness or even claiming all the power; actually where most of the villains do; this is what separates him from others. What did he want? What is the gain here? Thanos in the name of love so bothered about the overpopulation. Wanted to prevent the planets' destruction due to overpopulation, generate an abundance, at the same time calling to e

BIODIVERSITY: a variety of life in different forms…

Image
Lovejoy (1980) used the term ‘biodiversity’ mainly to define a different number of species. Upon realizing that the traditional methods of determining and separating the species being inadequate, others explained the definition further by adding the distinguishing diversity of living organisms. In comparison to ‘biological diversity,’ the term ‘biodiversity’ can be taken as a compound word.   The last decade has been about having a reductionist approach to define this term. In a nutshell, ‘biodiversity’ can be described as ‘the number of species.’ Although different authors have offered precise and intricate explanations in the definition, some claim that the term ‘biodiversity’ does not contain the diversity of abiotic components and progressions, further adding that it is wrong to identify ecological processes, ecosystems, ecological complexes, and landscapes as components of biodiversity. In determining biodiversity, it seems essential to separate some of the basics of which bio

Ecotourism: giving nature value

Image
I believe this might be a new term for some of us. Ecotourism is one of the most popular alternative tourism forms. It is different from traditional tourism because it allows the tourist to become enlightened about the areas of both in terms of the physical landscape and cultural characteristics. Ecotourism involves nature conservation by tourists who visit several attractions. The aim is to secure threatened species of flora and fauna which depend on nature for survival. This is mainly done by tourists to sustain the beauty and attraction of the sites. This is worth investing since the outcome benefits future generations and creates a sustainable source of government revenue. Why Ecotourism? This is one of the emerging questions at present. There are two groups, each expressing an opinion of their own regarding this question. While one group strongly suggests it as an effective tool for conservation, the other group denies it by terming it as a prominent threat to the existence of n
